Kids Corner: Sweet Stuffed Fruit Fun

Join us to make a quick, easy, and super fun food exploration for your Monday afternoon at home! Chef Vanessa and Chef Eliza will guide you in a 40 minute Monday Munchies class with some easy-to-find ingredients in your pantry. Grab these ingredients and be ready to cook along with us:


1 pear or apple
1 Tablespoon oats
1 teaspoon raisins or craisins
1 dried apricot, diced (optional)
1 Tablespoon coconut (optional)
1 tablespoon sunflower seeds, crushed or chopped
1 pinch cinnamon
1 pinch nutmeg
1 pinch allspice
1 pinch salt
1 teaspoon melted butter or olive oil
1 teaspoon brown sugar
Glaze (optional)
1 heaping Tablespoon powdered sugar
½ teaspoon milk
1 teaspoon maple syrup
Whipped Cream (optional)
1 Tablespoon heavy cream
Dash vanilla


Sheet pan
1 saute pan (if you have an adult present)
3 bowls
measuring cups and spoons
1 cutting board and knife
1 melon baller or small scoop
